I had my appointment with my OB-Gyne. I am already 39 weeks pregnant and I feel like I am more than ready to deliver.. ok, because of the severe itch caused by PUPPS, I wanted to deliver the soonest! So we've come into agreement that if I don't deliver by August 11 which is my due date, I will be under a C-Section on that date. That day also, I had Internal Exam and Cervical Dilation.

01:00 am - I keep waking up because of frequent bathroom breaks and on what seems to be "manageable" contractions.
02:00 am - I woke James, telling him "time na ata, feeling ko manganganak na ko". And so he told me to try checking if it's not false alarm while he started gathering and packing things we might need for the hospital. I was contracting every six minutes, it wasn't hurting much but I can start feeling the pain. by that time
03:00 am - I was spotting. Mommy and Daddy (James' parents) were with us that time. There was the unceasing rain outside.
04:00 am - My water bag broke. We were on the way to Angeles Medical Center. Contractions are coming stronger. Upon arrival at AMC, we were told there's no vacant room. I decided to transfer to Angeles University Foundation Medical Center.
05:00 am - Was rushed to the Emergency Room at AUF where I was immediately transferred to the OB Room and then to Labor Room where we waited until 11am for my scheduled C-Section. I was given a drug to make me drowsy so I will not feel the pains of the contraction which by this time became more and more stronger.
11:30 am - I was transferred to Operating Room. I was half awake when they injected the anesthesia (they had to try at least ten times because I kept moving due to the sensation every time I get injected. It felt like being grounded by small volts of electricity. They were so quick it think the operation lasted for only five minutes. I felt my tummy being emptied when my baby was taken from my body. Few minutes after, they gave me a chubby cheek to kiss, it was my Clairey crying with her small vocal chords. :') After that, I felt my body shake uncontrollably and I thought I couldn't breathe even with the oxygen tank in my nose. I kept whispering "hindi ako makahinga" but no one seems to notice I began being worried I touched the hand of the Surgeon nearest me with all my remaining strength and whispered, "Doc, di po ata ako makahinga". She warmly caressed my skin and gently told me "nakakapagsalita ka iha kaya nakakahinga ka ng maayos". With all the numbness I was feeling, I thought my entire body blushed I just pretended I was asleep :p
12:30 pm - I was transferred to Recovery Room. I do not know how long I lasted inside all I remember was asking the nurse when will they transfer me to our room so I could have my husband beside me. The nurse answered "Pag nagagalaw niyo na po ung paa niyo". With that, I waved my right foot and whispered "see?"
The nurse laughed and said "Sige po, ubusin na lang natin itong dextrose na isa pa".
05:30 pm - Finally, I got transferred. I was still groggy when my husband offered me a bouquet of roses. That was such an auspicious moment in history! He rarely gives flowers ( need pa siyang konsensyahin minsan!) Anyway, I was too tired I finally gave in to sleep. Now I am no longer afraid of not waking up because of the presence of James beside me. :)
BTW, here's a pic of my pretty angel on her first day on the nursery. :)
